Oh, Susan, this sure tells it like it is! Those pastel remains of beech leaves look almost sunny through that veil of heavy snow. Makes for a beautiful impressionistic image.

Whoa! It went blue as I was typing my comment. Kudos, and AC congrats!

Well, it is very beautiful Suzi, but..... I think it's a bit too muc for any place.   Sure wish we had an occasion   of such snow like that here in the SW.
It is snowing lightly out there now at 5 PM, but don't expect much at all.  the wind is gusting now at 32 mph.

Stay safe.  Congratulations on this AC!

About suzi46
suzi46 Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. The photo ops are virtually unlimited what with the surrounding working farms, dozens of lakes, ponds, and brooks, and thousands of acres of forest. Not to mention our own pond and brooks as well as extensive flower gardens, fruit bushes, vines, and trees. The views of Mt Washington and the Presidentials of NH only add to the drama! Not a bad place to be retired..and I am so glad I can share all of this with the wonderful folks on this great site..it has been a wonderful journey and learning experience thus far..and it's only getting better!
