The 'holding pond look' on left is just that: dike holding pond. The house (shiny roof) is just on the 'other side' of the dike. The truck -far right- carried two chaps to this location and a very large and noisy diesel powered pump in a hasty attempt to keep the waters out of the 'hole' the house is setting in. Once again .. common sense and the flood plain. Seems the two concepts are just not compatible.
