Trading lake effect snow for arctic cold? He must know you supply plenty of seed.

Super detail. Lovely bird.

Lovely birds these, we also get a movement down to our coasts along this side of the Atlantic. Some years ago I was lucky enough to see them at the nest site on a high Scottish Mountain, where altitude makes up for latitude creating Arctic tundra.
