I aggressively adjust the lightness. brightness,contrast and saturation on the HDRs to get them decent.
Some of them come out good on their own.

I am happy to wake up this morning and see this.

My opinion (just about useless, no experience at all), :) you have the perfect touch of HDR. You didn't overdo it, and we get to see detail in the landscape as well as fine, fragile colors of the sky.
