Skaftafell region, Iceland

Caption: This was taken at Skaftafell National Park overlooking the Vatnajokull glacier. This was the view from my hotel window and I could actually take photos from the comfort of my room, however, I did go outside to get the full experience! The temperature was around 30F and not too windy. What a thrill!

Thank you so much! This was such a wonderful experience. We were told there were groups over the past few weeks that did not see any auroras, so I am really grateful that I did!
