Meadowlands, MN (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I opened the front door to see what it was like outside and two of the cats raced up to run out like they usually do but came to a screeching halt when they saw snow everywhere, even stuck to the front door. We got over 13 inches last night and it's still coming down.

It varies wildly, Peter. Last year it was already in the 70's in March and eager beaver people were trying to plant gardens, which were frozen out later in April. But it stayed warmer than normal the whole spring and on into summer. Other years we've seen deep snow and cold right through into May, so every year is a surprise. :-)

Wow those Meadowlands are still under white, when do you usually get clear of snow?

Thanks, Heidrun--it's been funny watching the cats and the dog's reactions to all this new snow! :D Nope, don't have to go to work today, thank goodness. :-)

About minnesotamom

Hi! My name is Kathy and I live in northern Minnesota, USA, where the winter temps have dipped down to -60º below zero F. The summers used to be mild but in recent years have been up in the 90ºs---too hot for me. I love being able to travel the world from my office chair, through all your great photos! I've learned tons about photography and editing photos thanks to all the great people on here and their willingness to share tips. Thank you to all you Wunderfriends who take time to look and leave notes---I deeply appreciate it. :-)free hit countersCreate your own visitor map!
