Lovely frigid sunset, someone once told me that the best thing about cities is the open countryside between them.

Thanks so much, Heidrun! I hadn't really thought of it that way, being a country girl myself and disliking crowded cities, and loving the solitude of open spaces. :-)

Wonderful sunset shot, Kathy !
It depicts the loneliness that must be out there on a farm in winter in the middle of nowhere !

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Gene---I was starting to wonder if it was just me and EH that liked it better!

Ooh, nice, too! I kinda prefer the subtlety in this sky, too.

Thanks ever so much for all 3 comments and the "four leaf clover", Endless Horizon!! :-) I actually thought this was the best of the series but others seemed to like the more vivid sunset photo. :-) Just no telling, is there?

Hey! A double post on a single click! I'll call it the digital equivalent of a four leaf clover :^)

About minnesotamom

minnesotamom

Hi! My name is Kathy and I live in northern Minnesota, USA, where the winter temps have dipped down to -60º below zero F. The summers used to be mild but in recent years have been up in the 90ºs---too hot for me. I love being able to travel the world from my office chair, through all your great photos! I've learned tons about photography and editing photos thanks to all the great people on here and their willingness to share tips. Thank you to all you Wunderfriends who take time to look and leave notes---I deeply appreciate it. :-)free hit countersCreate your own visitor map!
