4:17 AM EST looking approximately north. Foreground lit by Christmas lights in the yard. Could be from Comet Wirtanen?? The radiant is right for a Geminid.

Nice one. Did you see it, or just got lucky with the capture? I saw four that I figured came from Wirtanen. They all came from the west, towards Gemini. If you did not see it, not sure if you will be able to tell.

Yes, this was a view to the north so in this case had to be a Geminid. Excellent point though. Actually, I have another photo of a trail almost identically oriented and, as luck would have it, the camera changed frames in the middle of the fall. Therefore both parts of the trail were visible (the frame rate is very fast). It came from the zenith (Gemini at the time) and went north as well.
