Beautiful display - There is nothing any
better than maple syrup straight from the

Thanks for your comments, and thanks to Approvers for allowing this semi-outdoors shot because of the overall outdoor theme.

We buy nothing but NH syrup, of course.

All the sugar houses are boiling this festive weekend. We had good weather for it - temps above freezing yesterday and today.

SPRING IS A TIME TO LINGER. LIKE CATS ON A WINDOWSILL WE SOAK IN THOSE FIRST WARM DAYS, CONTENTED JUST TO BE IN THE SUN. FOR ALL THE LIFE AND ZEST AND MOVEMENT OF SPRING, IT IS THE SEASON TO DECELERATE, TO VISIT ON THE STREET, TO UNBUNDLE THE LAYERS OF WINTER CLOTHES, AND - MOST OF ALL -- TO SIGH WITH PLEASURE. --Lilias M.
