This is the fun of B&W - to have a very simple scene, and make an image that catches the eye. I am enjoying the many BWs which folks have been uploading recently, presumably converting your color photos to see how they take to the BW/monochrome look.

As long as I live, I'll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. I'll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm & avalanche. I'll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can. --- John Muir
