I went to the water the morning after. The water level was still high. There were quite a lot of people there, including tv crews from around the world, trying to get a sense of what has just happened, although it took a couple of days, at least for me, to realize the magnitude of that storm. A large part of battery park was closed the first day... Yellow tape everywhere.
