Thank you Gil and Steve. Gil I don't think these are as big as your Bighorns, but they sure 'nuff are fuzzier!

Thank you Mary Ann! He's a very wily sheep, very nimble too. He'll have no trouble getting away from me!

Great shot! I like the perspective, color contrast and of course the lovely goat! He looks like he's just been brushed--his fur looks so soft. (No, I'd never pet a wild goat!)

I see him watching you out of the corner of his eye!

Nice framing and great photo Katy!

Thanks very much Jola, Peter, Wanda and Sharon.

Yes Peter I think he must be so rugged, he lives in a world of almost constant winter.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
