It surprises me to see so litle snow on the mountains there, this early in the season. We had our usual shower this morning and I hope we are done for the day, some blue sky showing now. That looks so inviting, I think I"ll join you.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
