All the moose calves are born within a 2-3 week period the end of May in spring, so this little fellow is probably 6-7 months old now. Easily as tall and me.

What a charmer.

I guess they must figure that if you let
them eat from your garden, the least they
may do is let you snap away with your camera!

Great series, Katy, I have enjoyed it very much.

Thank you Carol and Julia!

Julia I figure I am the trespasser, setting up housekeeping in their 'free-range' territory... they are letting me grow flowers in their backyard. :)

About katy99780
katy99780 I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I really love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
