Facinating..I see the belly / tail of a dolphin in those waves. Thanks for commenting on my pic. Kayaks scare me. The feeling of my legs being confined I guess.

This photo is probably one of the most incredible I have ever seen of clouds and sky!
And so original, maybe, we need to give these clouds an original name!

Thank you for the incredible response to this picture. A scary day for sure!
A report earlier today said thirty tornados were on the ground yesterday throughout MN, the Dakotas and north Iowa. Scores of people injured and three confirmed dead in MN.

Outstanding shot ! Don't know the official name of the clouds but unofficially called "Scary As H---"! Having lived in MN for many years we know how frightening that can be. Congrats.

We had a cloud pass by today in Loudoun County. It was a pretty little cloud. It slowly traveled across the sky from west to east and then faded from sight. *sigh* Did I mention that I gave your slightly more impressive sky a 10? WU needs to come up with an eleven-point option, just for pics like this!
