Love these little cardinals. We have a cute couple (male and female) who comes down from the North every winter. May not be the same ones but nevertheless adorable!

While I love the bright red of the males, in
some respects the female is the prettier bird!
Beautiful shot of this one, fluffed up against
the cold! Beautiful, James!

About gardner48197

gardner48197

10/2014: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
