Thank you so much, I appreciate that!! I don't usually post feeder shots, but this one was very clear, and these little guys don't stay still for long, so I posted it anyways...

Nice shot of the Red-breasted Nuthatch. I've not been fortunate in capturing a shot of any Nuthatch species. You did fantastic in getting this one! I've put it and the other shot, in my Birds 2013 Blog!

Yes, very nice capture, this little bird is very quick. We have them at our feeder this year for the first time, we have not seen them before here.

About gardner48197

gardner48197

3/2015: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
