WOW!!! Thank you everyone, so very much, for all of the wonderful comments and favorites!!! There was a huge flock of Robins eating the berries, they totally cleared them out of five or six trees in a day...

What a bonanza of berries for this beautiful well-fed bird.

What is a robin doing in Michigan in January?

You are so fortunate to have them in your own backyard. Not sure I have ever seen one here. My very dear Aunt Marjorie adored her robins in rural New Hampshire ... still miss and love her dearly.

About gardner48197

gardner48197

7/2014: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
