Thank you so much, Gale!! I appreciate the great info, and I have heard Robins almost every day, although I haven't seen them every time...

Such pretty birds!  People think they migrate far away but I find that they stick around in the cold winters.  They just tend to stay in flocks and stay in fields and wooded areas.  Great find!

About gardner48197

7/2014: Greetings from Michigan, where we get quite a wide variety of weather changes throughout the four seasons! Originally I found this site, for the weather, and the photos kept drawing my interest! Decided to get my first digital camera in 2010, and have since upgraded to a Nikon P530. Truly an amazing, eye-opening hobby! This is a great community, so many excellent photographers and friends, so little time! I do read and appreciate every comment and email that I receive! I would like to thank everyone who contributes, for all of the great inspiration and feedback! Sometime down the road I would still like to get a DSLR camera, but for now I just I hope to send a small view of life from the Great Lakes State. Home of the University of Michigan Wolverines! Go Blue! -James
