Caption: NZ's highest mountain at 12,316ft, seen through a rather dirty A320 window and a fuzzy sky, on my way back from a day taking photos in Queenstown. Left Auckland at 7:00a.m. and flew 1,100 km to Queenstown and left there at 7:00p.m. to return home.

Thank you Eve. That's Lake Pukaki on the right. It catches most of the eastern snow melt from the mountain and, in turn, the water generates electricity as it passes through several power stations.
