Lovely rainbow yesterday. Today, while out on a CrimeWatch Patrol, we got dumped on by hail. And fork lightning. Neither are common in Auckland. There was hardly any wind and the cell stayed over us all afternoon. But, interestingly, 400 metres along the road from where these were taken there was no hail. The shots were taken on the patrol car camera.
