Such a Dixiedaughter furniture image...incorporating the overhanging limb at the top of the image as a foreground frame is so original I'm in wonder...AND the driftwood tree is in focus too! I'm also a huge fan!

This reminds me of an old dear friend who attempted to teach me about photography. I've lost track of him over the years & he would have to be close to 100 now, but he always said, "Real photographers MAKE pictures, they don't just shoot dozens to see what accidentally comes out." You definitely chose a beautiful composure to MAKE this picture! Thank you for the picture & the reminder!

dixiedaughter

Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2014 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
