Penobscot, ME (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Some days I come here just to ponder many situations in my life. It is a very peaceful place in our 100 acre woods, so to speak. No one lives here, and what a shame that is in some ways, yet what a gift for me. The sun is just beginning to set, and in doing so directs its rays beautifully on the upper story of this charming cedar cottage.

I will probably be taken aback...how much do they want for it, if they were to sell it? I'm sure it is too rich for me but, it's nice to dream!!! :) I agree, really wonderful place!!!

It is owned by a gentleman and his wife who live out of state. They rarely come up any longer, and though they do rent it in the summer months, due to the economy no one visited this year. It is a beautiful, secluded home. The interior is quite lovely too.

Nice looking place. Why does no one live there? How long has it been empty? Seems like a real shame.

Enjoy taking photos in the area of Downeast Maine where I live near the shore with my husband and our dog, Drzl, who is one half greyhound and one half rhodesian ridgeback. I am not a professional, I just shoot what looks cool or interesting to me. Thanks for looking!
