Love this capture over the cattails Donna! Can't count how many times I have tried to capture a good red wing and failed! Kudos!

An exquisite series on the Redwing Blackbird,
Donna. It is one of my favorite birds.

I have been hearing one around our immediate
area, but cannot see him. I love their song.

Congratulations on a beautiful AC series.

Gorgeous shot Donna. We used to see these all the time until all the contractors started buying up so much of the land and building on it- now very few of these birds around. AC Congratulations

Great in-flight capture Donna. I've always enjoyed the red wings and remember how plentiful they were on my grandfather's farm. When the flocks would scatter out of the fields, the air would seem to turn bright red. Congrats.

How wonderful! Know you were thrilled to capture this great shot!
We have some Red-Winged Blackbirds here in the FL Panhandle and the only ones I might ever get to see are near the Destin Bridge area where the Air Force has a protected bird sanctuary area.
I love this shot!
