Boy, Medora sure didn't look like this when we stayed overnight in the state park southeast of town in July of this year (2013). It was pretty dry and brown. This is gorgeous!

Thanks everyone. Much of Medora is staffed by volunteers and college students during the summer. I have been hoping we could send all our rain your way, gil. We sure don't need it. Arlene

Very beautiful. Nice and Green! I am in Northern NM, and we have lots of forest fires in NM. Very Dry.
I worked at Medora a few months in 1959 at the Railroad station, as Agent/telegrapher.

Thanks for the nice comments. Medora is just off I-94 in the western part of the state. It isn't near Minot fortunately as there are over 4000 houses inundated right now. I hope to put on a picture of the Musical shortly. Arlene

Thank you both for the kind comments and Susan the Badlands are greener this year than I have ever seen them but then we have gotten so much rain all over the state. I imagine you have heard of the 4000 homes in Minot that are under water from the river there. Arlene
