Nice on Steve. Those feathers look like they are a wood carving. Great one.

Exquisite detail, Steve. Always loved that quirky name, widgeon, and now that I see one, methinks I could learn to leave these quirky ducks!

About backwardguy

backwardguy

My wife of 40 years and I live in Hermiston OR. on a 5 acre "farmette". I have been an elementary school teacher for the last 26 years. I enjoy the outdoors and animals and I'm an avid (not a good) golfer. My wife and I take our motorcycles on long trips and our destinations are almost always the beautiful National parks in Oregon, California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, and last summer we added Arizona to the list. Photography has long been an interest of mine and many of my photos are taken on our little farmette, and on our motorcycle trips.
