Wow, Adam. You could have been so seriously hurt if not killed with hail this size. Windshields and dents can be replaced and fixed but human life can never be replaced. These are some spectacular shots but no photo is ever worth your life.

There is right now a story in the news of a young, local girl who just returned from Baghdad (servicewoman) and was on holiday with friends. They were taking photos of a waterfall and she leaned too far out and fell 150' to the bottom. 5 surgeries later, they still don't know if she'll make it.

Please, please, please to everyone here at Wunderphotos, NEVER put yourself in jeopardy trying to get that perfect shot. We don't want to learn of someone in our wunderful photo community dying in pursuit of a photograph. Have a wonderful weekend of happy shooting! ;-)

I'm glad we tend not to get hail in the UK large enough to do that kind of damage.

Wow! That is some serious hail damage! Were the side-glass windows broken out? This is exactly why I drive my old truck while chasing. It could get hail damage and even get sucked up into a tornado(preferably without me in it) and I would not care! You just never know where the road will end and gps is not accurate on rural roads.

Oh, my! That is too bad! What a ferocious storm -- the turquoise color in the other photo gives indication of the violent hailstones! (Was your father upset?)
