If only those water lilies could talk! What an adventure they must have had ending up here.

So sorry to hear about the dangerous conditions. I really wish they'd come up with some technology to be able to transport flood waters to the parts of the world that are suffering from drought!

Not pretty, but it is an excellent illustration of the bad weather conditions that you have in the UK! Great series, Dave!

The above is a very minor thing, flooding on the levels is steadily getting worse. A farmer in Moorland today had to move 500 cows out of his shed with help from local farmers & volunteers, as the cattle shed had flooded, the roads out of his farm were also flooded!

Think you need to get bailing Dave, these flowers look unlikely to see snow this year, but to end in such a way is sad.

About WurzelDave

WurzelDave

I'm a 'wurzel' who lives in South West England (UK) in the county of Somerset (next to Devon), famous for scrumpy cider, Cheddar cheese, The Wurzels (well worth going to see) & birth county of 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.Like the rest of the West Country, Somerset has many areas, places & landscapes worth a visit such as Glastonbury Tor & Abbey ruins, Quantock hills, West Somerset Railway, Cheddar Gorge, & Exmoor, to name but a very few.Favourite holiday destiations are Iceland (see alot of photos) & the Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi Sweden (also see photos). Still a lover of the flim camera, my first camera was an Halina 110 camera which you could buy flip flashes for! I have a Canon 3000V SLR film camera, also have some TLR cameras from the 1950's plus Canon powershot A3300 & SX150 digital cameras which are useful for close up macro shots & also makes film 'last' longer!
