Great dramatic documentary Dave!
The reflections in the b&w are so crisp. Great job on all of these!

I hope this situation get better soon but it does not look that way.
Yes our changing world is getting a little scary and history proves that whatever does not change then becomes extinct.

Sedgemoor District Council declared the flooding a Major incident on Somerset Levels today, this was later backed up by Somerset County Council as an amber alert for rain is issued for Sunday.

The bridge near Long Load is closed & said to be in an unsafe condition due to the high river levels in the river Yeo.

The village of Muchelney can still only be reached by boat. Around 17000 acres of land are still underwater!

About WurzelDave

WurzelDave

I'm a 'wurzel' who lives in South West England (UK) in the county of Somerset (next to Devon), famous for scrumpy cider, Cheddar cheese, The Wurzels (well worth going to see) & birth county of 2009 F1 world champion Jenson Button.Like the rest of the West Country, Somerset has many areas, places & landscapes worth a visit such as Glastonbury Tor & Abbey ruins, Quantock hills, West Somerset Railway, Cheddar Gorge, & Exmoor, to name but a very few.Favourite holiday destiations are Iceland (see alot of photos) & the Icehotel in Jukkasjarvi Sweden (also see photos). Still a lover of the flim camera, my first camera was an Halina 110 camera which you could buy flip flashes for! I have a Canon 3000V SLR film camera, also have some TLR cameras from the 1950's plus Canon powershot A3300 & SX150 digital cameras which are useful for close up macro shots & also makes film 'last' longer!
