Caption: Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island,Northumbria. One of the many castles down the North East Coast. Mainly built by Edward II to try and repel invading forces from Scandinavia. Also here are the remains of St.Cuthberts Abbey,which dates back to the start of Christianity in the UK. You can only get to Holy Island across a causeway which is only accessable at Low Tide.
