Thanks, Arlene. Lots of wet basements and roads out and the pumps at the sewage treatment plant were damaged. In the East End people had 4 feet of water in their basements! That area has been flood-free for quite a while now as they created the McIntyre Floodway to keep the river where it should be. Sun is shining (for now) so hopefully people can dry out a bit before the next forecasted rain begins!

About ThunderBev
ThunderBev I have lived in Northwestern Ontario all my life, and think I am very lucky! In addition to fresh air and changing seasons, there is the opportunity to attempt to catch the beautiful scenery on camera. I say 'attempt', because a picture is not worth a thousand words... the reality can take your breath away. I have always been a shutterbug, however owning a digital camera and discovering Wunderground has motivated me even more. Create your own visitor map!
