Caption: A hint of smoke in the air adds a little haze but the views were still incredible. The state parks are free and because of land owner donations have the most vistas of the river.

I love the water, rivers, oceans, muddy marshes - all of it. I especially love being out there in natural world. Obviously lots of you do too. Which is one of the reasons I love this site so much. Thank you all so much for your time and effort to visually share your part of the world with us. And thank you in advance for your honest feedback, which I always learn from, and your kind commentary applause, which always motivates me to get out and shoot more photos. I've hosted the WUG PHOTOS MEET-UP at Jekyll Island on the Georgia Coast during President's Day Weekend for the past 4 years. Everyone is invited. And usually folks just keep coming back because our WUG buddies are so friendly and so much fun. Just contact me by WUG-mail for all the details. Also check out my blog entries for photos and info from past WUG Jekyll Meet-ups.Laura (Sunsetsailor). PS Please leave your photo comments by way of WUG Mail. I am not here daily and that way I will never miss what you have to say and I can respond in a much more personal way. Thanks.
