These two friends have been building igloos around Fort Jones since they were kids. the last several years they have been here at the Ball field, and are getting bigger each year. This year they hope to break the world record by sometime next week. It is currently sitting at 12' high by 31' across. Finished height will be a whopping 19 feet! They have been hampered by both warm and currently, extra cold temps that have slowed the progress, but they are confident that it will be done next week.

Ha! Ha!  Thanks for the VIP! The boys would be happy too.  They are getting lots of coverage in the newspaper, the Oregon TV news was down, and people honking as they drive by stopping by to take pictures of this feat.

Good job, Lori! -- for you and the builders! I wonder how large the igloos are that Eskimos build to live in? At least these fellows don't make you crawl to get indoors, LOL! Good luck to them and to you!
