It was so dark and gloomy at sunrise. It had rained so hard most of the night, I got up early to check out the flooding. Not as bad as I feared it would be. I wish you could hear the boulders tumbling underwater in the raging creek.

Excellent, if soggy, series, Lori! Where does
all this water end up. I hope it is filling
some reservoirs and aquafirs that were in need!

Nope - runs into the Scott, and on to the Klamath, over to the Smith and into the ocean.

I heard a good description last night about water and drought. Rain is like money in your checkbook, it goes quickly. Snow is like money in your savings account, saved for another day. We need the snow pack badly.

Oh my, what a series, Lori! Hope it is not too serious a problem, though. It is an impressive rush of water! Kudos, and AC congrats to you.

Awesome shot, Lori.

Really like the rain vs. snow thoughts too.

I begin to fear we aren't going to get much
snow this year and it could get VERY dry this
summer. Then there are the bugs to contend with.

Congratulations on your AC.

You should see it today - you would never know anything was wrong, except for all the new trees and logs and mud littered around. The path of the creek has also been changed, as happens every few years.
