It turned out to be a beautiful day - a bit windy in the valley, but here is Mt. Shasta. :)

She's beautiful. Why do you call the mountain a "her" - did she blow her top?

I get in trouble from some for calling the mountain a her, Duane. I guess mountains are supposed to be 'he'. Just looks like a she to me!

Oh - how beautiful !
Her Majesty cleared up to present her full beauty !
Since Shasta is a volcano, maybe SHE did blow her top - picking up on Duane`s comment !

SHE is awesome! I love the contrast of that
dark slope in front of her..makes her look all
the more majestic! Now she's got a LOT of snow
already. Our big mountains have some, but not
thick like this. Beautiful, beautiful shot,
Lori!

That mountain makes her own weather, and it doesn't take but one or two storms before she is glowing again. :) Thanks, Kat!

LOL - I crowned her that a few years ago (and still get hate mail that volcanoes are 'male')  I don't know why Shasta seems feminine to me, but it does.
