Check. Looks more like spring runoff than Fall! Lots of rain the last 3 days got the creek jump started and more.

Wow - thank you Julia and Gil - and approvers! This was just supposed to be a weather report. I wasn't even going to go outside at lunch because it was raining so hard - but Whipper gave me her legendary stink eye, and I could see white caps from the kitchen window - so off we went! Had no idea it had risen this much.

Well - other than rain drops when I took it out of my jacket, we did ok today with keeping dry. :)

Gee..we wouldn't know what to do with all that rain
at once! I think our annual rainfall is about 11".
I sure wouldn't mind some of it, though! I know you needed it, too. Great shot and series, Lori!
Beautiful 'weather report', now wrapped in Blue!
Congratulations!

Great pictures. What does CA do with all this water, seeing as they have this big water shortage?

Mostly it just runs to the ocean - at least in S. CA. Here in N. CA, it brings water to our wells.

According to the news, the creeks and rivers have crested, even though we have 80% chance of rain tomorrow.

Whipp does have a good eye, Susan. lol
