My son and daughter were looking at this and both pointed out that the formation looked like a giant eagle, like they were trying to tell me what spooked them. pegpics, you see it too! Neat.

Looks like they formed a giant bird to scare away the eagle!!! the bleakness evoked by the palette!

For a little while the wind stopped blowing so hard and gave reflections. We had sat watching them come in for a long time and were driving around to the entrance when an eagle scared them all into the air. Just lucky we were on the side to catch the reflections.

About Nikongranny

Old, retired with lots of time on my hands and a Nikon. Lucky for me, there is a park just north of town that provides me with migrating birds and sunsets. Since joining this site, I have a new appreciation for this scenic world we live in. I especially love the comments from so many great people on here.
