Katama, MA (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: It was overcast, but still warm, and a great day for the beach. The warm waters on the south side of the island brought in an unwelcome visitor, however. This Man 'O War jellyfish, highly, and painfully poisonous, had washed up on South Beach.

Thanks, Jola! The critter is only about 10 inches across, but can have very long tentacles. Should you step on one by mistake, you'll definitely know it!
