Crescent Moon

Uploaded by: Kajzar

Thursday March 14, 2013

Ksawerów, Poland

Caption: I was waiting to see the Pan-STARRS comet today but there was a layer of clouds, thin enough to see the Moon but thick enough to hide the comet. Today was probably the only chance to see it at my place. Now there's moving in massive low pressure system with heavy snowfall and it will cover the sky with clouds for many days.

You're right! I'm waiting for it too.
Today I'll try once again to take a photo of the Pan-STARRS because now we have some cirrostratus clouds only. The snow storm missed us by 50km (31 miles) and I hope it won't change its' direction and turn around.
