Caption: With my friend's permission I am uploading a picture he took of the tree branch that split off and fell down on his house during the thunderstorm that brought rain and damaging winds around 3pm. I take no credit for the photo.

Looks like his gutter took a hit on the left. I
hope that was the only damage to the house. Too
bad about the tree. Be careful riding around on
your bike..broken branches may still fall.

It looks like the midway area got it worse than downtown. I called my grandma and she's okay. Her power didn't go out, but my friend's power did. I did some cruising with my bike. I plan to get some of those pics up in a minute or two.

Kinda rough afternoon, then, wasn't it, Mary? Hope there wasn't extensive damage in your area.

About Fieldofflowers

Fieldofflowers

Every day that I come here, I'm amazed by the awesome photos I see. I love to take photos of whatever catches my eye. Usually my photos have something to do with nature. Insects and flowers have always been a big interest. You can also find me on Flickr. Summer '09 goal: Aiming to take pictures daily, and upload some of my favorites. I hope people enjoy them as much as I do. Most of the time, the fun comes from taking the pictures, more than the actual results. Create your own visitor map! Counter started: 6-21-09
