Used both the Lumix FZ35 and the Nikon P500 this morning to see how different they may be. There certainly is a difference. See what you think. This one is the Nikon version.

I also have a Nikon and a Lumix Julia. I find the Lumix does better with sunsets and photos with more color. The Nikon is better for daylight and shots with more detail. These shots are both very nice, but I think I kind of like the Lumix version better!

Thanks, Mary, for offering your thoughts
on the difference between these shots.

I like both cameras, but I usually grab
the Lumix before the Nikon. Don't really
know why. The Nikon has 36X where the Lumis
has 18X optical zoom, so if I know I will be
looking for bird shots, I usually use the Nikon.

Thanks again, Mary! I appreciate your input.

This one's much sharper, more detailed, although I like the colors better in the other one.

I am going crosseyed looking back and forth to decide ;) I can't discern a big difference. Maybe if I had them side by side. But either way, I like them both! Cool experiment :)
