The solid forms of stones are broken by their worked lace lines. Stained glass windows of the church and its Zsolnay-made roof colours give a three-dimensional experience this image of the night lights.
The present Nagyboldogasszony templom ('Our Lady's Church') in Buda Castle was constructed in two stages between 1250 and 1270. It is the Coronation Church, named Mátyás-templom ('Matthias Church'). You can see a detail of it on this photo. See also:
