Eckert, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: A last look at the reservoir, too. We drove down the road next to the huge fields full of cattle and then took a rough dirt road up the hill to the West of it. My car sometimes has to pretend it is a jeep.:-) When we got to the top, the look back was just too beautiful not to stop so I could show it to you. You can see a couple storm in the distance, too.

Thank you, Heidrun! My camera could only capture
part of this wonderful view. The valley and pastures
run on to the left until they run into some more
mountains. Most of the land with the cattle
belongs to one or two big ranches. One of them is
State owned, I believe, but I could be wrong.

Love the lay of the land , the peaceful pastoral scene with the grazing cattle and the billowing white clouds sending a couple of squalls down onto the mountains!
So glad you captured this beautiful view for us !
