Dillon Reservoir, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: As usual, I stopped at the overlook to Dillon Reservoir. The wind was so strong, I almost couldn't open my car door! And cold...oh, man, was it cold! But...I wanted a picture, so out I went. The two mountains you usually see here are barely visible through the heavy snow. My luck held, and I got home without having any driving issues. The only snow I ran into was some tiny crystal-type snow in Georgetown. When I got home, it was in the 50's with a patch or two of blue sky!:-)

I hope you get some nice breaks in the winter-
type weather, Arlene! I know it can get cold
and stay cold up there! I prescribe fleece socks
and hot cocoa! :-) Thanks for commenting!

It looks like that here again, we had one nice day and we are back to snow and wind chills, I hope winter won't be like the end of autumn has been in most areas.

Thanks, Heidrun! I always think, "Maybe this time
I won't stop there" but it draws me like a magnet! I just love it!
