Reverse Deja Vu - Zoomed In

Uploaded by: ColoradoKat

Wednesday July 31, 2013

Crawford, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: On the 19th, I posted some photos that showed Needle Rockin sunlight while everything around it was in shadow fromclouds. Today it was the exact opposite, with Needle Rock under a small cloud shadow while everything around it was in sunshine. I thought it was kind of cool, actually...reverse deja vu.:-) It's in the middle of thepicture sand almost looks black. Bud and I were on our way in to Crawford State Park, as I was looking for photo ops. I have a zoomed in shot, too.

Gorgeous contrasts created by the changed lighting!
Needle Rock stands out beautifully from the lit mountain slopes and rises majestically out of the lush valley!
Fantastic capture, Kat !

The effect of changing light positions is so fascinating and challenging! You captured this in such a way that it stands out from the mountains and yet the details can be seen. A hard moment to capture and you did it so well!
