Littleton, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I thought the doe and fawn had left our yard, because I see the Mom out in the surrounding fields from time to time, but then I started watching closer because she kept coming back into the yard, so I figured the fawn must still be hre...and it is!

I got the Mom and the baby today, too, but not together. They don't like the owls.:-(

Thanks, Kim! The Mom can come and go from the yard
at will by jumping the gate, but she came into our
yard to give birth. The baby can't leave, so she
keeps him(her) hidden in our yard and she goes out
into the neighboring fields to do whatever it is deer do,
but spends lots of time here with the baby, too. One day,
I will leave the back gate open and they can both leave.
