McClure Pass, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This will look totally different week by week now, as Spring begins to slowly take hold and more and more trees get their leaves and the underbrush gets its color, too. Every phase has its own charm. Still waiting on McClure Pass. Just a bit of snow on this broad slope, but look at the very left, sticking up above the ridge and you will see there is plenty of snow on the bigger mountains beyond.

Yes, those are the aspen trees! This is when I
would love to have a place in the mountains, so I
could watch it change over. It's a little too
far to drive up to McClure every few days. lol
Thanks for all your great comments on this series,

Great capture and great title, Kat !
Must be the early aspens that show their lovely tender greens- but it`s great that not all of them come " out" at the same time. Spring can be enjoyed longer that way.
