Hotchkiss, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Elevation makes all the difference when it comes to snow accumulation. The inch or so that we had,at near 6,000 feet, was almost melted, but up at over 10,000 feet, it was looking pretty white. The mountain rising off to the right is Mt. Lamborn. I'm not betting money on it, but I think the one on the left is Jumbo Mountain. I'm pretty sure, but I'm still learning.

Thanks, Liz! Actually, their house is surrounded
by big trees and has no view to speak of! This is
their barn! It's just a few years old, but you
are right about that view!

Those white caps and blue sky sure make a pretty backdrop for this barn.
