Eisenhower Tunnel, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: There are spots where the snow looked pretty deep to me! I wouldn't have wanted to hiking up there when this hit. This is just outside the East side of the Eisenhower tunnel. I have a fear of tunnels and used to hold my breath when I drove through. I didn't know I was doing it, but because it was so long, I would feel very lightheaded at the end. Now I make myself breathe as I drive through.

Thank you, Jeannie! Unfortunately, the tunnel is
the quickest way to go from East to West and back
again and that's a trip I have to make all the
time, so I just remind myself to breathe...and I
may speed up just a bit to get through it as
fast as I can.:-)

I went through that tunnel once, and once was one too many times. Thanks again for sharing your trip, the newest photo is beautiful. Jeannie

It certainly made a good start, Heidrun!
You are right, Susan! Not the place to hold your breath!
Now I will say, out loud, "BREATHE!" ...."BREATHE!" LOL
Thanks for your nice comment!
