Westfield, NC (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Steam rises off the surface of the water, not because it's warm, but because the air was so cold. The temperature was about 26 degrees this morning and the frost was so thick it looked like snow in some places.

Thanks, Debbie! This picture was hard to get because I was shooting directly into the sun. I couldn't get a better angle without climbing a fence or opening a gate, and I don't do those.

That'll happen, Mary! I think New England may be behind schedule? It's not unusual to see hard frosts and freezes here in late October. Thanks for commenting!
